TWO were appointed to curate an art collection that fused together the French philosophy of art-de-vivre with the unique culture of Benin. The resulting art collection is built on a foundation of ‘captivating contrasts’, taking traces from Benin’s ancestors and heritage - the medium of sand, wood carvings, leather workers, blacksmiths, weavers, bronze casters, coral beading, goldsmiths – infused with modern-age techniques and mediums to curate relevant, contemporary works.

This bespoke art collection offers guests a poetic experience inspired by the special relationship between Benin’s land and its people. It’s a celebration of culture and creativity that touches every aspect of human pleasure from food to fashion, art to conversation. It’s story is hidden in the detail, the discreet attention, the subtle gestures that tells the tale of Benin’s rich culture.
